Day 01 : New Delhi
On the first day of India with Nepal Bhutan tour, our tour representative will receive you at the international airport and drive you to the hotel for overnight stay. Check in. Take rest for a while. Then explore Old Delhi and its monuments. Once the capital of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, this city was earlier known as Shajahanabad. Explore the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandi Chowk market. After having dinner, stay overnight.
Day 02 : Delhi-Agra-Delhi
You would set out your same day Agra tour. Agra is about 205 kms away from Delhi. There are fastest train services to Agra. You can visit either by train or by ac coach. Take the morning train to Agra. Reaching drive toFatehpur Sikri. It is an abandoned city with Mughal monuments built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. Explore the tomb and buildings. Then drive back to Agra city and explore the Taj Mahal and the giant Agra Fort. Feel the marble beauty of Taj till sunset. In the evening take your return train to Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi-Bagdogra-Darjeeling
Take the flight to Bagdogra Airport. Our representative would transfer you to Darjeeling. Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Darjeeling is known as the queen of hill stations located in the Indian state of West Bengal. This hill resort is mainly famous for the tea gardens and the Mountain Toy Train Journey.
Day 04 : Darjeeling
There are lots to see in Darjeeling. After breakfast embark on your Darjeeling travel. The vast lines of tea gardens look like canopy of greeneries. Visit the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute/Zoo and Happy Valley Tea Garden.
In the late afternoon walk past the roads of the town. You can have a glimpse of the lifestyle of the local tribes. You can purchase some souvenirs. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Darjeeling
In the early morning drive to Tiger Hill to see the sunrise view. Explore the scenic vistas of the hill resort. Also visit today the Ghoom Monastery.
You can opt for Mountain Toy Train journey that is operated in between Darjeeling and Newjalpaiguri. This is one of the World Heritage Sites included in India Mountain Toy Train Journey. Enjoy a ride and explore the scenic beauties of the eastern slopes of Himalayan hills.
Day 06 : Darjeeling-Pemayangtse
After breakfast drive to Pemayangtse. It is small Buddhist centre on the eastern part of Sikkim. The Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim has been a hub of Buddhist religious activities for a long time.
Afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdantse. The walls of the monastery have traditional frescoes and other images which depict the tantrik themes of Buddhism. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Pemayangtse
You will stay for two nights at Pemayangtse. On the second day you would explore the nearby attractions of this Buddhist village. Drive to Khechepati Lake and explore its scenic beauty. Visit the mountain villages.
Day 08 : Pemayangtse- Martam
On the 8th day of Nepal Bhutan and India tour, drive to Martam in the early morning. It is a village resort located at a distance of 34 kms away from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Staying at this resort you can a glimpse ethnic community of Sikkim. Village tour, nature walk would be most enjoyable activities here.
Day 09 : Martam-Gangtok-Martam
Today you will explore Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim state. It has become a tourist hub for its hill beauty. The main attractions are hills, scenic vistas of natural wonders and the Buddhist way of life. Gangtok houses the famous Rumtek Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries of north east India. The 9th Karamapa Wangchuk Dorje in 16th century built this monastery. Visit the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten which is a beautiful Stupa, Orchid Sanctuary and Rumtek Monastery. After full day sightseeing in Gangtok return to Martam. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : Martam
The whole day is reserved for your own activities at Martam. Visit Tshangu and explore its beauty. You can go on a nature walk, explore the nearby flora and fauna. Enjoy the whole day on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 : Gangtok-Jaldapara
Drive to Jaldapara. It is located in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. Jaldapara is located on the eastern Himalayas renowned for its wildlife sanctuary. The Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is home to Asiatic one-horned rhinoceros at the sanctuary. On arrival take a hotel.
Day 12 : Jaldapara-Thimphu
On the 12th day of India, Nepal and Bhutan Tour, you drive to Thimphu. Start your drive to Phuntsholing. Our Bhutan representative will receive you here and drive to Thimphu valley. On arrival check in and overnight stay.
On arrival take a hotel. Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan located on a picaresque valley. There are lines of modern buildings, restaurants and shops in the city centre. It is also home to Buddhist monasteries.
Day 13 : Thimphu
You would explore Thimphu valley and its attractions. Visit the Tashichhodzong, Memorial Chorten, National Library, Arts & Craft School, Textile & Folk Heritage Museum and Handicraft Emporium. The Buddhist attractions in Thimphu are Dechen Phrodrang Monastery, Tango Monastery and Cheri Monastery.
Explore the local markets. You can pick up souvenirs made by the Bhutanese tribes. Overnight stay at Thimphu valley.
Day 14 : Thimphu-Paro
After having breakfast, you would travel to Paro town. This beautiful town houses heritage buildings and museums. It owns the only airport of Bhutan, Paro International Airport.
On arrival take a hotel. Then explore the Paro town and its heritage buildings. The major Buddhist attraction is Taktshang Monastery perched on a hillock. The Phobjika glacier located in Paro valley is a protected area.
Day 15 : Paro
Enjoy your sightseeing in Paro town. The royal buildings of the town are a quite contrast to the traditional lifestyle of the local ethnic groups. Visit Durkgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress and the traditional farm houses to feel more of Bhutanese way of life. Overnight stay at Paro hotel.
Day 16 : Paro-Kathmandu
Take the flight to Kathmandu. On arrival you would be transferred to the hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal located on Kathmandu valley, a part of Himalaya. This city is home to Pashupatinath temple and Buddhist monasteries and Stupas. In the afternoon explore the temple and Buddhist monasteries. The local markets have lots of stuffs.
Day 17 : Kathmandu-Chitwan
Morning drive to Chitwan. This is a wildlife destination home to Chitwan National Park, a World Heritage Site. There are lots of floras and fauna in the park, the major attractions are royal Bengal tigers and rhinoceros.
On arrival take a jungle resort. In the late afternoon, explore the beauty of the surroundings. Overnight stay.
Day 18 : Chitwan
Early morning embark on an Elephant Safari to explore the wildlife. This park is a paradise for the bird lovers. Explore the rich birdlife. In the afternoon you can enjoy a Canoe ride and go for a Jungle Walk. Overnight stay at the jungle hotel.
Day 19 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
On the 19th day of India Nepal Tour, drive to Kathmandu. The whole day is for your own choice. You can go on a shopping spree. After having dinner, stay overnight.
Day 20 : Kathmandu- Departure
After exploring the main cities and attractions of Nepal and Bhutan, you would board your onward flight.
