Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi - Corbett National Park
Early in the morning you will be greeted by Our Representative and transferred to a hotel where you will have breakfast. After having your breakfast, you will embark on a fantastic Corbett Safari. It will take almost seven to eight hours to reach the Corbett National Park which is situated in Ram Nagar district of Uttarakhand. Needless to say, you will really relish every minute of the safari. But during the seven hours you will take to reach there, you will have seen fascinating scenes of daily Indian life. Enroute, you will have lunch at some good road-side restaurant. The many Indian villages you see along the way will give you insight into the Indian village life. After reaching there, you will check into a wildlife Resort. Relax in the resort during the evening. After having dinner, retire for the night.
Day 02 : Corbett National Park
The Corbett National Park is situated on the bank of river Ram Nagar under the foothills of majestic Himalayas. The Park has been so named after Jim Corbett who did remarkable conservation work in the area. It is spread over a wide area with numerous species of animals. There are around 50 species of mammals, 600 of birds and 25 species of reptiles. The tiger is the most famous resident in this park. The leopards, Gharials and fish-eating crocodiles are also very popular with the tourists. It is oldest wildlife sanctuary and the first one to come under the Project Tiger. Rest assured Corbett safari tour is going to be really stimulating. The Sal tree is the main fauna here. Although it is troublesome sighting a tiger in this densely forested area, patient watch usually pays off. Slithering through the narrow forest trails on a jeep safari is really thrilling heart-pumping experience. The anticipation that a tiger would leap out of nowhere keeps adrenaline flowing. It goes without saying that tourism in the park is restricted to certain areas.
The climate around here is usually temperate. The best time to visit the park for foreigners is winter. The Park has become hugely popular with wildlife enthusiasts. After a thrilling day, you will get back to the resort. Have your dinner at the resort and retire for the night.
Day 03 : Departure for Delhi
After having breakfast at the wildlife resort, you will depart for Delhi. The wonderful time you spent at the Corbett Park will long remain in the cockles of your heart. You will have your lunch at some good roadside restaurant along the way to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to a hotel. This is the end of a fascinating tiger safari. You have lot of time or leisure till the evening. You will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight for onward journey.
